2020 Vermont Season Pass: $69

Complete Your Entire Vermont CLE Requirement for $69

Vermont attorneys who report their Minimum Continuing Legal Education this year on June 30, 2020 (in other words, attorneys in the 2018-2020 cycle), are affected by a temporary COVID-19 change. The current MCLE Rules require at least 20 hours of accredited programs. Normally, at least 10 of these hours must be "live" programs--the maximum for individual viewing of prerecorded programs is normally 10 hours. This limitation has been suspended for attorneys whose license renewal is due on June 30, 2020. This year, your full 20 credits can be satisfied with accredited self-study programs, such as those shown on this page.

(Vermont attorneys in the 2019-21 cycle--in other words, attorneys who report on June 30, 2021, are under the new MCLE rules which require 24 credits per two years, 12 of which must be live.)

In other words, if you report this year, you can get all of your required credits from the programs on this page. If you report next year, you can get up to twelve credits from the programs on this page, and you will need an additional 12 hours of "live" programs. Unlike some states, this year's deadlines have not been extended. The Vermont deadline for renewing an attorney license remains July 1.

All programs listed on this page have been accredited by the Vermont Continuing Legal Education Board.

Additional On-Demand Programs

Since I will probably not be able to prepare a full 20 Vermont credits before June 30, I recommend you take some of the following free courses to satisfy your obligation. (All courses listed here were free when originally posted, but some courses now have a fee.)
