Robert Johnson v. Cintas Corporation No. 2. WI offer of settlement
In 2011, the Wisconsin Legislature amended Wis. Stat. 807.01 by changing the interest rate applicable to offers of settlement. In this case, the Wisconsin Court of Appeals held that the change would not be retroactively applied. For an offer of settlement made prior to the amendment, the earlier rate would apply.
