Minnesota Ethics 2021

Complete Your Minnesota Ethics Credits for only $69

2021 Telephone Conference Call CLE

The programs on this page allow you to complete your Minnesota ethics credits by telephone for only $69. On December 22, 2020, the Minnesota Supreme Court amended the CLE rules to allow up to 30 hours of your 45 hour CLE requirement to be completed with "on demand" programs. Starting in 2024, you will be able to satisfy all of your credits with on-demand programs. (If you viewed more than 15 hours in 2021, then you might need to make up some of those hours.) I have on-deman programs available at my main CLE page. Until 2024, you still need to take a minimum of 15 live hours, and the programs on this page qualify as live credits.

This three hour conference call will satisfy your entire ethics requirement.

If you are taking the program for Minnesota credit, please register on this page. If you are taking the program for Wisconsin or Iowa credit, please register on the Wisconsin-Iowa page. If you need credit in more than one state, you may register on either page and let me know which state(s).

*-CLE credit has been applied for as follows:

Minnesota: One Minnesota ethics credit, each part, approved.
Wisconsin: 3.5 ethics and professional responsibility credits approved, full program.
Iowa: 3 ethics credits approved, for full program.
Nebraska: 3 ethics credits applied for upon request, for full program.
Other States: Eligible for CLE credit in most states. Please contact me regarding credit in other states.

Program Description

Minnesota Ethics 2021. Live lecture presented by Richard Clem. This will be a comprehensive review of the Rules of Professional Conduct for attorneys in Wisconsin and other states. Many lawyers review the Rules in their entirety only once, and that is before they take the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam in law school. But the rules change over the years and decades, and some of the finer points might be forgotten. Therefore, this course will serve as a useful refresher for the practitioner to avoid ethical pitfalls. Live lecture, 180 minutes.

Part 1 covers Rules 1.0 through 1.6, Part 2 covers Rules 1.7 through 3, and Part 3 covers Rules 4-8.
