Complete Your Entire Minnesota CLE Requirement for $89

If you are a Minnesota attorney in CLE category 3 (in other words, you need to finish your CLE this year), you may now take all of your 45 CLE credits using on-demand programs. The CLE rules impose a 15 hour cap on such programs. Due to the COVID-19 emergency, on March 18, the Minnesota Supreme Court waived this requirement for attorneys who report this year. You can find more information on the Minnesota Board of CLE website.

July-August update:Even though the Minnesota deadline for attorneys in category 3 is June 30, 2020, the Board of Continuing Legal Education has one again granted an automatic extension until ugust 31. The following notice is on the Board's website:

If you have not met your CLE requirements by June 30, 2020, you may attend courses and complete CLE requirements between July 1, 2020 and August 31, 2020 without requesting a formal extension from the Board. But you must report your CLE compliance by August 31, 2020.

August 31 is also the date by which you must report your attendance. This means that if you take courses in late August, you should make sure that those courses have already been approved for credit. If you take a program in July and credit has been applied for, it will probably be approved in time. But if you take a course in late August and it hasn't been approved, it might not be approved in time for you to report on August 31.

If you don't complete your CLE by August 31, you will need to request an extension, and also pay a late fee. As always, if you have questions about CLE compliance, please contact me at clem.law@usa.net or call me at 612-378-7751.

- My 6 credit ethics-bias program, which satisfies your entire ethics and elimination of bias requirement.
- My Introduction to American Law program, 12 credits approved.
- 3 credit ethics program.
- On-demand replay of July 23 program. One credit approved.
- On-demand replay of August 15 program. One credit approved.
- All additional programs I offer this year.
Assistance with finding free approved courses from other providers to complete your 45 credits. Since I will probably not be able to provide all 45 credits before August 31, I will assist you in locating additional free high-quality programs. Some of those courses are listed below. My programs will take care of all of your ethics and bias credits, and most of your general credits. If you need more credits to complete your 45, I have listed a number of free programs from other providers below.
Any assistance you need reporting to the Board of Continuing Legal Education. Initially, the board announced that attorneys taking advantage of the rule modification would need to report by paper affidavit. But theBoard of CLE's website has now been updated to allow for online reporting.
